QA 143's operations security team uses its Iraq-wide coverage to provide real-time situational awareness and ground truth in support of all missions. This ensures that operations are managed and overseen effectively.
Operations include:

  • Daily assessments including information on regional and local areas, issues by the Operations team to all clients.
  • Occurrence reporting – to ensure everyone is up to date and in order.
  • Specific security risk and threat assessments.
Comprehensive mission planning, live intelligence, situational awareness, multiple communication systems and proven standard operating procedures (SOPs) provide sturdy control of all missions; all are reported throughout operations into the OCR (Operations Control Room).

RESPOND: Speed of reaction and confidence in execution, enabled by SOPs and constant training and practice.

QA 143 has developed a set of concise and focused processes and procedures (Standard Operating Procedures; SOPs) that are easily understood by people operating under stress in their second language.

Our SOPs are constantly in use and tested daily. Yet, we are not complacent. Even though we are audited annually against PSC-1, ISO 18788,ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 9001, we ensure that our procedures continue to reflect what we do and the situations that we have to deal with. The operations staff are practiced and trained which both validate the procedures and give confidence not only to the staff themselves, but also to our clients.
